The City College of San Fernando Pampanga has been recognized as one of the top performing Teacher Education Institutions (TEI) in the country who offers Bachelor of Secondary Education. This is based on the February 2023 Report of the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) titled, “Are We Properly Preparing Our Future Teachers? An Analysis of the BLEPT Performance of Teacher Education Institutions in the Philippines.”
CCSFP’s Institute of Education bagged the 10th rank in the category of schools with less than 1,000 takers in the recent Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) since 2010 to 2022.
CCSFP logged 359 passers out of 454 takers or 81% average passing rate for the coverage period of 2010-2022.
This milestone is a testament of the dedication and quality of education that CCSFP offers for the ASLAG ning Balen (students) and Fernandino youth under the able leadership of CCSFP College Administrator and President Atty. Gloria J. Victoria-Bañas.
This is also in line with City Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag’s thrust in providing a better future to the Fernandino youth and families through quality education.
