The City College of San Fernando Pampanga (CCSFP) conducted a Stakeholders’ Conference which featured a Quality Assurance Learning Seminar on October 25, 2023, at the Hall of Teacher-Heroes of the DepEd Schools Division Office, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, the President and Executive Director of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) and President of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) served as the resource person and was assisted by PLMun AVP Dr. Alni Gavjaymin Casacop. This event served as a crucial stepping stone to the forthcoming level 1 accreditation of CCSFP by ALCUCOA.
Dr. Arcega, in his enlightening seminar, shared heartfelt advice on how CCSFP can enhance the quality of service it offers to its constituents, emphasizing the importance of a service-driven approach, symbolizing a true dedication to public service.
The conference was participated by a diverse group of CCSFP stakeholders, including College Administrator and President Atty Gloria Victoria-Bañas, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Engagements Dr. Melanie Viloria-Briones, VP for Quality Assurance Dr. Kimberly Mallari, VP for Administration Ms. Emilie Laxina, CPA, Deans of Institutes, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, and some of our Aslag students.
Likewise, the City Government of San Fernando Pampanga (CGSFP) showed strong support with key representatives in attendance. City Administrator Engr. Nelson Lingat, City Legal Counsel Atty. Elmer Teodoro, City Treasurer Ms. Mary Ann Bautista, City Budget Officer Ms. Rizzel Mangilit, and City Planning and Development Officer Mr. Paolo Israel Franco, were among those who reaffirmed their commitment to CCSFP’s mission. Notably, City Administrator Lingat reminisced, in his inspirational message, about the founding of CCSFP during his tenure as a city councilor of San Fernando in 2008.
CCSFP President Bañas and VPAAIE Briones echoed a shared goal of providing a higher quality of education to the youth of San Fernando and contributing to an improved standard of living for every Fernandino family.
The event’s significance extended to the grassroots level, as barangay leaders from stakeholder barangays and representatives from DepEd schools in the city also participated and were joined by CSFP Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Leonardo Zapanta, emphasizing the widespread support for CCSFP’s mission to enhance education and community development.
