Three CCSF IT Graduates Top Government Exam

Three (3) Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) graduates of the City College of San Fernando (CCSF) topped the recent ICT Specialist Proficiency Examination given by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The test was conducted at the DICT exam center in UP Diliman, Quezon City, last April 2018.

Messrs. Jake M. Bonus, Prince Flord M. Rivera, and Fausto M. Arcega III successfully hurdled the examination, and garnered ranks 1, 2, and 10 respectively.

The ICT Specialist Proficiency Examination is designed to evaluate the competencies of an individual to perform programming or systems analysis and design functions. Successful examinees are conferred with an Electronic Data Processing Specialist Eligibility. This eligibility is equivalent to the CSC Professional Level should a successful examinee choose to enter government service and work in the Information Technology/Management Information System fields.

Messrs. Bonus, Rivera, and Arcega belong to CCSF’s class of 2013, the pioneer batch of the college, and are currently employed at City Hall’s (office of the MITD).
