CCSFP STRENGTHENS TIES WITH OTHER UNIVERSITIES PRIVATE SECTOR WITH MOU

Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag and City College of San Fernando Pampamga (CCSFP) President Atty. Gloria Victoria-Bañas led the charge of strengthening the ties of CCSFP with other Universities and members from the private sector.
 
This Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Heroes Hall – a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CCSFP with the City Government and the Philippine Normal University, University of the Philippines-Confucius Institute, and private company L&T International – was inked to establish a partnership between the parties involved.
 
Mayor Caluag thanked the partner universities – which she perceives to help develop the quality of education and provide a better experience to the Aslag Ning Balens (CCSFP students).
 
PNU President Dr. Bert J. Tuga lauded the City Government’s efforts in providing inclusive programs for the local city college and its focus on giving all students a chance for a better education.
 
Atty. Edgardo Calo Vistan II, Chancellor of the University of the Philippines, highlighted the cultural and language exchange that the UP-Confucius Institute is set to give to the CCSFP students and assured strong cooperation between the city college and UP.
 
Meanwhile, L&T International Human Resources Director Mr. Herrie Raymond Rivera – who signed a separate MOU with CCSFP – appealed to the students to fill the demands for employees in different professions, especially in the manufacturing sector.
 
Also, present to oversee the MOU signings were DILG3 Regional Director Atty Anthony C. Nuyda with other DILG Central Luzon officials, Vice Mayor BJ ‘Tiger’ Lagman, City Councilor Ricky Hizon, City Government department heads, and officials of CCSFP.
