The year 2024 marks the 16th founding anniversary of the City College of San Fernando Pampanga (CCSFP), with the entire Aslag ning Balen community celebrating its journey towards becoming a leading higher education institution.
With “Abe-abe’t Misasanmetung, Labing-Anam at Susulung!” (United Together, Sixteen Years and Striding!) as its theme, CCSFP President Atty. Gloria Victoria-Bañas stated that the foundation’s focus is on “recognizing the shared spirit of its students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and stakeholders” and calling on them to “continue growing.”
More than 3,000 students who were able to avail of the free higher education due to Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag’s open-door admission policy greeted her as she graced the opening festivities yesterday, November 19.
According to her, the theme supports her goal of helping the CCSFP understand that everyone can develop and flourish when they work together.
The two-day festivities commenced through a Misa ning Pasasalamat, while a series of activities took place afterwards—showcasing the students’ talents, wit, and creativity. More activities await the entire CCSFP community today, November 20.
